Armour-Digivolution

Armour-Digivolution appears in S2 when the Digimon can't digivolve normally because of the Digimon Emperor's control spires. The kids use new Armour-Eggs to let their Digimon digivolve to a new level, called Armour or Co-Champion. This is the equivalent of Champion Level. Each kid gets his or her own Armour-Egg(s). However, each Digimon can still digivolve using most of the eggs.

There is another type of Armour-Digivolution, called Golden Armour-Digivolution. This still takes the Digimon to the Co-Champion level, but the Digimon's power is very close to Ultimate. Golden Armour-Digivolution requires a Golden Armour-Egg. There are only two of these: Miracles and Fate.
