Izzy: I just don't get it. We've never been able to travel to the digital world without our digivices or D3's, but Kari did! But not only did she not have her D3 with her, she was transported there without using any gate! There must be something special about Kari that we're not aware of. Huh? An email. It's from Yolei. [reading screen] 'There's a digiegg nearby. We're going to keep cooking.' Going to keep cooking? Well, whatever you're making, be sure and save me some! [reading screen again] 'Sorry, it was a typo. We're going to keep looking.' That sounds good. There are no control spires in that area, so feel free to take your time. Huh? A Digiport has opened in America! Hey wait, Mimi lives there! But it's not even morning there, yet, I can't call her. I know, I'll send her an email!
[in the DIGIWORLD]
Veemon: I can't walk another step. I've gotta eat something now!
Davis: Yeah, I'm getting kinda hungry, too!
Yolei: But we're very close to finding the new Digiegg!
Armadillomon: When I find that Digiegg, I'm gonna eat it!
Hawkmon: You'll do no such thing. Besides, your cholesterol's too high.
Kari: *laugh*
Gatomon: Eh!
Kari: If we want to eat, we're going to have to go back.
Davis: Sounds good to me!
Cody: So long, Digiegg!
TK: Hey, look! On the other side of the lake, I think it's a restaurant!
Veemon: A restaurant?
All: Yeah!
Armadillomon: Saved, at last!
Digitamamon: Would you like to sit in the digivolving, or the non-digivolving section?
[the DIGIDESTINED order their food]
Davis and Veemon: That was delicious!
Yolei: Ugh...I'm going to recommend this restaurant to all my friends who dine in the digital world!
Cody: Yeah, me too!
Kari: What's wrong, TK?
TK: Something about this place is bothering me. I feel like I've been here before, and it wasn't good.
Kari: Maybe you ordered the wrong thing?
Yolei: Waiter, we're ready for our cheque please!
Digitamamon: Okay, hold your horses. I've only got one shell.
Yolei: What does our bill come to?
Digitamamon: Eighty-seven Digidollars, plus tip.
Yolei: Huh?
Digitamamon: What's the matter? Don't you have any money?
Yolei: We don't have Digidollars, but we've got plenty of money!
Digitamamon: Forget it!
Yolei: Huh? But our money is just as good!
Digitamamon: Since the Dark Masters left, we only accept digidollars!
TK: What's the problem?
Yolei: The lunk-headed waiter won't take our money!
Kari: I see you're being your usual blunt self.
Yolei: I'm just trying to be honest.
Digitamamon: I think you kids are trying to skip out on the bill!
Yolei: But, I TOLD you, we HAVE 87 dollars!
Digitamamon: Only digidollars! Or the digiexpress card.
Yolei: That's it! I'm not going to recommend this restaurant to anyone!
Digitamamon: Good! I don't want any human world deadbeats in here! No wonder the french detest tourists!
Yolei: Grr!!!
Digitamamon: Now, are you going to pay the bill, or do I have to call a cop?
TK: I've heard something like this before...
Cody: If we work here, we'll be late getting home!
Davis: Why don't we just pay next time?
Digitamamon: There won't be a next time! You're not allowed in here again! Now get in that kitchen and start washing dishes!
Voice: Fear not! I'll pay their bill!
Yolei [in love]: How sweet! Prince Charming!

Mimi: That's Michael. He's a friend of mine I brought with me from America!

Cody: What are you doing here in the Digital World?
Mimi: Izzy sent me an email saying there was a Digiport open in America. I thought it would be a great opportunity to come see everyone! And since Michael's a good friend, I thought I'd bring him along!
Palmon: And I'd like you all to meet a good friend of mine!
Digimon: Nice to meet you! My name's Betamon!
[DIGIMON ANALYZER]
Palmon: Betamon is really cool. He lives in the water and uses his Beta Slugger attack to wipe out his enemies.
[END D.A]
Kari: Is it alright for you to be here, Palmon?
TK: What about the area you were protecting?
Palmon: Tentomon said he'd watch it for me if I brought him back a souvenir t-shirt!
Yolei: How were you able to bring Michael to the Digital World?
Mimi: Oh, you see, I forgot to tell you. Michael has a digivice, just like us!
Davis: If he has a digivice, then he's a digidestined!
Mimi: Right! And his digivice is the same as mine and the others'!
[later on, still in the RESTAURANT]
Mimi: Michael became a digidestined the same time our original group did in Japan!
Davis: Tell us, Michael, are there more digidestined kids like you in America?
Cody: And tell us how you became a digidestined!
Yolei: And tell me you're single!
Michael: All I know is it happened when I first saw Gorillamon in New York. I thought it was simply another ape climbing the Empire State building,
TK: That's the same time Myotismon was taking over Tokyo!
Kari: TK's right!
Michael: My, that's strange. That means we all had an encounter with the Digimon at the same time!
Cody: It's possible. That's when I was on that aeroplane that had to make an emergency landing in the water. That's when I saw my first Digimon.
Davis: I remember that summer. I was one of the people being held at the convention centre by the Bakemon!
Yolei: I wish I could say my summer was as terrifying for me as it was for you guys, but it wasn't, 'cause nothing happened. But I did send a bunch of emails during the fight with Diaboromon!
Mimi: So, everyone was involved somehow!
Palmon: It's like we're all connected!
Digitamamon: But, there's still one question: Who's going to pay the bill?
Michael: Don't worry about it! The entire meal is on me!
TK: Now I remember where we saw him! He used to be one of Myotismon's henchmen! He made Matt and Joe work in the kitchen! He got mad when Matt asked if he could have half price on his meals!
Yolei: So, you used to be one of the bad guys.
Digitamamon: Alright, I admit it, I was a rotten egg. But that was in the past. When the Dark Masters were defeated, I knew I had to break out of my shell. I'm a whole new mon!
Kari: I'm glad to hear that you've changed your ways.
Mimi: And don't you feel a lot better about yourself?
Digitamamon: Well, now that you mention it, it is kind of nice making an honest living!
Yolei: It seems to me that you're STILL one of the bad guys after the way you treated me!
Mimi: Come on, Yolei, everyone gets a little cranky. If he says he changed, I believe him!
Yolei: I guess you're right.
TK: Sometimes it's easy to get cranky around you.
Digitamamon: I feel pretty bad about the way I treated you last time.
Yolei [thinking]: He had a change of heart. But it didn't seem that way when he was yelling at us for trying to eat and run! I guess I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. [aloud] It's okay, Digitamamon, I'm sure you're not a total loser anymore!
Digitamamon: Hmm? I don't want your pity, I want your money! Fork it over, now!
Yolei: Huh?
Mimi: Relax, don't get upset! She's only trying to help? Right, Yolei?
Yolei: Um, yeah...
TK: Besides, we always intended to pay the bill. If you had been more patient, we probably could have avoided this whole thing.
Digitamamon: You're right. My brains have been scambled lately. I've got to look at the sunny side. I've got a good job, I've got my health, and some day I might even have friends! Tell you what, forget the bill, it's on me!
Michael: You know, Mimi, I admire you because no matter who you meet, you always bring out the best in everyone. You're really special!
Mimi: Plus, I saved you some Digidollars!
Michael and Mimi: *laugh*
Davis: Looks like someone's got a crush on Mimi!
Yolei [thinking]: 'Look's like someone's got a crush on Mimi!' How come I never get the cute guy?
[the ground starts to shake]
Yolei: Woah!
Davis: It must be an earthquake! Run!
[everyone goes outside, and they all see the trees shaking]
Davis: Look over there!
Michael: It's Gorillamon!
[DIGIMON ANALYSER]
Michael: Gorillamon is the Digimon I saw in New York. Watch out for him Energy cannon attack! It'll drive you bananas!
[END D.A]
Yolei: He's got a Dark Spiral!
Davis: But I thought the Dark Spirals only worked on ultimate level Digimon!
Cody: If they work on champion level Digimon, too, then there must be different kinds!
Gorillamon: Energy Cannon!
Davis: Heads up!
[DIGITAMAMON comes from behind them, and jumps in front of the blast]
Mimi: Digitamamon!
Yolei [thinking]: Digitamamon tried to protect us...why would he do that?
Davis: Get him before he gets us!
Gorillamon: Roar!
Davis: Ready, Veemon?
Michael: Please, allow me to handle this! Okay, Betamon?
Betamon: Okay! Betamon digivolve to...Seadramon!
[DIGIMON ANALYZER]
Mimi: Wow, Michael! Seadramon is your Digimon! I still get chills remembering his Ice Blast and Ice Winder attacks!
[END D.A]
[SEADRAMON pulls GORILLAMON into the lake]
Michael: Now that they're in the water, Seadramon 'll win!
Gorillamon: Energy Cannon!
Seadramon: Ice Blast!
Michael: He's in trouble!
Mimi: Okay, Palmon, you'd better digivolve and help Seadramon!
Palmon: Ready when you are! Palmon, digivolve to...Togemon!
Togemon: Light-Speed Jabbing!
[TOGEMON punches the DARK SPIRAL off of GORILLAMON]
Mimi: Togemon, you did it!
Michael: Victory, at last!
Mimi [to Gorillamon]: Sorry we were so rough, but we had to get the Dark Spiral off of you. You should be safe now, but stay away from the Digimon Emperor!
[GORILLAMON runs off]
Palmon: Without that Dark Spiral, he doesn't seem like such a bad little monkey, after all!
Mimi: I don't think any Digimon is born evil, but when they get those dark spirals on them, they can't control their actions.
Michael: How do you get them?
Mimi: Remember when I told you about the Digimon Emperor? He captured Digimon and makes them his slaves!
Michael: I don't get it. Why would a young kid want to take over the digital world when he could be playing polo or practising the violin?
Davis: It's a hobby for him!
Yolei: Do you want to know what my hobby is, Michael?
Davis: Boys don't count, Yolei.
Yolei: Who asked you? Huh? Hey, where's Digitamamon?
Mimi: He tried to protect us, and now he's gone! He could be alone somewhere, scared and hurt!
TK: Don't worry. Kari and I will go look for him!
Gatomon and Patamon: Hmm!
Mimi: I'm sure they'll be able to find him in no time!
Michael: I hope so!
Digitamamon: Is this fast enough?
Mimi: Digitamamon, are you okay?
Digitamamon: Yes, but no thanks to you!

Digitamamon: Nothing can penetrate my shell, and when I poach my enemies with my 'Nightmare Syndromer' attack, their minds get cracked!

Michael: Look out, Mimi!
Hawkmon: Well, Yolei?
Yolei: Hm! DigiArmour Energize!
Hawkmon: Hawkmon, Armour Digivolve to...Halsemon: The Wings of Love!
Veemon: We better help!
Davis and Cody: DigiArmour Energize!
Veemon: Veemon, Armour Digivolve to...Flamedramon: The Fire of Courage!
Armadillomon: Armadillomon, Armour Digivolve to...Digmon: The Drill of Power!
Flamedramon: Fire Rocket!
Digmon: Rock Cracking!
[neither of the attacks affect DIGITAMAMON]
Digmon: I need an egg cracking attack!
Flamedramon: None of our attacks are working on him!
Mimi: Wait! You leave Digitamamon alone right now!
Flamedramon: Why?
Mimi: Digitamamon, listen. You're being controlled by something evil. Remember what you said to us in the restaurant? That you're not like that anymore!
Digitamamon: I'm not being controlled by anything! The one in The restaurant was a fake, this is The real me!
Mimi: I refuse to believe that!
Digitamamon: That's your problem!
Yolei: Mimi, stand back! Let us attack him!
Mimi: No! I'm sure if I just talk to him, he'll come around!

Davis: Yeah, let's scramble that egg!

Yolei [thinking]: I don't understand Mimi. Why is she doing this? Digitamamon isn't even our friend?
Mimi: Think back to The restaurant. Remember when you said one day you hoped to have friends? Well, today is The day, because we're your friends!
Digitamamon: Friends? No! That was just a trick so you'd let your guard down! Just like when I said forget The bill! Which reminds me, you still owe me 87 DigiDollars!
Mimi: I don't care how rough and tough you try to act on The outside...deep down inside, I know you're not evil!

Yolei: Digitamamon, you're The rudest Digimon I've ever met! At first, I thought you were just an obnoxious waiter looking for a tip. And, when you told us you had a change of heart, I gave you The benefit of The doubt. But, when you pushed Mimi to The ground, that was absolutely The last straw! All she was trying to do was make you her friend, and how do you repay her? By viciously attacking her without any cause! Mimi doesn't have a mean bone in her body, and you couldn't see that! Well, I want you to know I will not tolerate that kind of behaviour any longer!
Digitamamon: You're one to talk! You want to be friends, then call me a phoney! You're The phoney!
Yolei: Okay, I admit it. I have a problem judging people by my first impressions of them. I see a cute guy, and I instantly fall in love! I never stop to see what kind of person he might be. He could be really cool like TK, or a real jerk, like Davis!
Davis: Ugh!
Yolei: From now on, I'm going to be as sincere with people as I possible can!
[a light shines from The ground. An OBJECT flies up from The light]
Yolei: Was it something I said?
Cody: It's The new Digiegg!
Mimi: It has The Crest of Sincerity!
[The DIGIEGG goes to YOLEI]
Yolei: Woah...
Davis: Careful!
Cody: It must have responded when Yolei started talking so sincerely about her feelings!
Davis: I guess she sincerely thinks I'm a jerk.
Yolei: It's my second! I've got two digieggs!
Halsemon: Let's use it!
[HALSEMON devolves]
Yolei: Hmm! DigiArmour Energize!
Hawkmon: Hawkmon, Armour Digivolve to...Shurimon: The Samurai of Sincerity!
[DIGIMON ANALYZER]
Shurimon: I am Shurimon. As Hawkmon, I use The Digiegg of Sincerity to Armour Digivolve. My 'Double Stars' attack is double trouble!
[END D.A]
Shurimon: Double Stars!
Digitamamon: Not even you can penetrate my shell! Nightmare Syndromer!
Shurimon: Protect Yolei. I'll take care of Digitamamon!
[DIGITAMAMON'S attack heads for YOLEI]
Digmon: Don't let it get through!
Yolei: Ahh!
[SHURIMON attacks DIGITAMAMON]
Digitamamon: What is he looking at?
Shurimon: I see The Dark Spiral! It's inside his shell! Double Stars!
Digitamamon: Hey, careful, you almost hit me in here!
Shurimon: Pegasusmon and Nefertimon, get him!
Pegasusmon and Nefertimon: Golden Noose!
Kari: He's trying to get away!
TK: Not if we have anything to say about it!
[DIGITAMAMON is pulled up and hung by The GOLDEN NOOSE]
Shurimon: Now, to take care of that Dark Spiral. Double Stars!
Digitamamon: *cough*
Yolei: He coughed up The Dark Spiral! That egg is overeasy!
[later on...]
Mimi: He's waking up!
Digitamamon: What happened?
Mimi: You had a Dark Spiral in You!
Digitamamon: You saved me!
Mimi: Actually, Yolei was The one!
Yolei: What do You mean, it was me?
Digitamamon: Thank You.
Yolei: Well, there's no need to thank me, but I do want to apologize for those things I said about You earlier.
Digitamamon: I'm The one who should be apologizing.
Yolei: From now on, I promise not to judge a book by it's cover!
Digitamamon: And I promise not to put all my eggs in one basket!
Yolei: Whatever. Anyway, thanks to You, Mimi, I'm going to be totally honest with people, especially boys, and I won't be friends with them just because they're cute!
Mimi: Great! Then neither will I!
Sukamon: Oh, Mimi! If You don't care about looks, how would You like to go on a date with me?

[MIMI punches SUKAMON over The forest]

Davis: Well, Michael, it was cool meeting you, and I hope we'll get to hang out together real soon!
Michael: I feel The same way. Mimi's always telling me stories about how great You all are, and now I know it too, first hand! Oh, before I go, there's one thing I've wanted to do since I got here. Yolei, I want to ask You something. Would You like to go out on a date with me sometime?
Yolei: *laugh*
